Payment: Upon making your booking, a 50% deposit is required to secure your booking.
Invoices must be paid in full at least 14 days prior to arrival and proof of payment to be
forwarded to info@wagendriftlodge.co.za with surname as reference. We only accept EFT
payments. If accommodation is required within 7 days from the date the actual booking was
made, the full payment is payable upfront. We reserve the right to retain the deposit as a
cancellation fee. No refunds are payable for premature departures.
Cancellation Policy: All cancellations must be done in writing. If received in less than 14 days
prior to arrival, you will forfeit 100% of your deposit.
Damages & Breakage: Damages & breakage will be charged in order to maintain the high
standard of our units.
Extras: Braai wood (R50 / bag) and ice (R15 / bag) can be purchased (cash) on the farm - subject
to availability. Bring your own to avoid disappointment. Bring own drinking water.
Check-In time: from 14h00-20h00 and check-out time is 10h00. Early arrivals or late
departures can be catered for, but MUST BE PRE-ARRANGED.
Vodacom mobile phone signal – at the lodge rooms, and on the main house porch next to the
garden cottages. No Wi-Fi.
Visitors: Guests are not allowed to entertain day visitors or overnighters.
As there are other guests who need to be considered, no noise is permitted after 23:00 as
people come here to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city noise.
Strictly NO pets allowed.
We do not serve any meals or anything to drink. Also bring own coffee, tea, milk.
Bedding, towels, hand wash soap, all necessary kitchen ware and braai facilities provided.
Mattresses are not allowed in any other area except in the bedroom. Children under the
age of 8 are allowed to sleep with their parents in a bedroom at no additional costs. No more
than 1 child under the age of 8 are allowed to share a bedroom with their parents. Own
mattress and bedding must be brought for this purpose.
Lodge
Please do not move any of our furniture around.
Upon departing, kindly leave the property in the same state you found it.
Pool: For lodge guests only. If no guests at the lodge, cottage guests may also make use of the
pool.
Provided: Bath towels, bedding, hand wash soap, all necessary kitchen ware and braai
facilities. These should not be removed from the property. Please bring your own swimming
towels.
Smoking is prohibited in all units / rooms.
Lodge has a spacious separate kitchen area next to the rooms with porch braai at the swimming
pool. (no fence around the swimming pool).
Lodge rooms are equipped to accommodate a maximum of 2 people per room.
Rooms 1-4 have 2 single beds in each room. Room 5 has a double bed. All rooms: on-suite
bathroom.

We honor your child as a person - therefore children are counted.
Mattresses are not allowed in any other area except in a bedroom. One child under the age
of 8 are allowed to share a room with his/her parents at no additional costs. Own mattress
and bedding must be brought for this purpose.
SMOKING IS PROHIBITED ON ALL HIKING TRAILS due to the fire hazard (dry Karoo bushes) and
the area being very remotely situated to acquiring help from any fire department.
We require guests to respect our Lodge as well as the other guests.
4x4 maps available on arrival. No 4x4 guides. Own vehicle necessary.
Garden Cottages
Please do not move any of our furniture around.
Upon departing, kindly leave the property in the same state you found it.
Swimming facility (only during the months of November – February): Neat cement farm dam
next to cottages available for cottage guests only.
Provided: Bath towels, bedding, hand wash soap, snappy chef plate, all necessary kitchen ware
(except stove) and braai facilities. These should not be removed from the property.
Parking: Please REFRAIN FROM parking on the lawn.
Smoking is prohibited in all units / rooms.
Cottages are equipped to accommodate a maximum of 4 people per cottage. Double bed + 2
single beds in each cottage.
4x4 maps available on request. No 4x4 guides. Own vehicle necessary. No mobile signal on
any of the routes.

Access to, and use of the 4x4 route as provided by Wagendrift Lodge is subject to the
following Terms and Conditions:
Wagendrift Lodge shall not be liable for any damages (including, and without limitation,
damages for loss of business or loss of profits) arising in contract, tort or otherwise from the
use of, or inability to use, this 4 x4 route, or from any action or decision taken as a result of
using this 4 x4 route.
All vehicles must be road worthy and insured for use by whosoever is to drive on the route. All
passengers must be legally seated.
All drivers and passengers participate on the route at their own risk; therefor safety is the
responsibility of each individual.
In the event of a break down we will try to assist. If the vehicle cannot be repaired on site, we
will do our best to get you to a recoverable state, but the responsibility of getting your vehicle
recovered remains with the driver/owner.
If any of these terms should be determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable by
reason of the laws of any state or country in which these terms are intended to be effective,
then to the extent and within the jurisdiction in which that term is illegal, invalid or
enforceable, it shall be severed and deleted from the clause concerned and the remaining
terms and conditions shall survive, remain in full force and effect and continue to be binding
and enforceable.
Access to the 4 x4 route may be suspended temporarily or permanently and without notice.
Only GS motorcycles (low noise) will be allowed. NO other motorcycles and quad bikes are
allowed due to the ongoing game farming.
Please keep noise levels down and respect our wildlife.
